In Week 9 , the Baltimore Ravens face a virtual must win scenario as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coming off two disappointing showings, Baltimore Beatdown predicts how part two of the season series will play out. Sage’s Predictions:Antonio Brown will record over 100 receiving yards.Against Carolina, the Ravens allowed Maryland rookie D.J. Moore to rack up a career-high 90 receiving yards on six targets. Look for Brown to improve on his Week 4 numbers and go off like the last time he visited Baltimore when he torched the Ravens for 213 yards. Hayden Hurst will be targeted frequently, reaching the end zone for his second career score. Lamar Jackson’s 22-yard touchdown pass to Hayden Hurst last week was one of the few bright spots from Week 8, and the rookie tight end caught two of his three targets against the Panthers. Appearing in just his fifth NFL game, look for Hurst to be integrated more into the offense. Vasilis’ Predictions:Lamar Jackson will account for more than 1 00 yards from scrimmage.Coordinator Mornhinweg seemingly adds a few new wrinkles to the Lamar package every week. Look for Jackson to continue making plays with his legs and also complete a couple big gainers through the air in Week 9.Tyus Bowser will record the Ravens only sack.Pittsburgh has surrendered one sack combined in their last three games. An unlikely contributor will match that number when Bowser posts his first sack of the season.Frank’s Predictions: Hayden Hurst will record 100+ receiving yards.Baltimore’s first round pick has been unable to get into a groove since returning from injury a few weeks ago. However, he had his best game of the season last week against Carolina, catching two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown. Though his touchdown reception came with the game out of reach, Hurst looked more comfortable than he has all season. The Steelers will key in on limiting other Ravens pass catchers Alex Collins Jersey , meaning Hurst will have plenty of opportunities to build upon his Week 8 performance. Ty Montgomery will find the end zone. Should he suit up on Sunday, it is unclear how involved Montgomery will be in his first game with the Ravens. However, given his versatility, he could find a way to make an impact even with limited opportunities. There is no better way to make a good first impression with your new team than scoring a touchdown. Whether it be rushing, receiving or on special teams, look for Montgomery to score one this week. Dustin’s Predictions:Ty Montgomery will lead the team in rushing. With a fresh start in Baltimore and a chip on his shoulder, Montgomery will make an immediate impact for the Ravens in one of their biggest games of the year. Montgomery will pop off a couple of nice runs, leading Baltimore in rushing yards against the Steelers.Mark Andrews will lead the Ravens in receiving yards. The third round rookie tight end has enjoyed a strong season thus far. That will continue against Pittsburgh this Sunday, as he will lead the team in both receptions and receiving yards. The Steelers will look to contain wide receiver John Brown Authentic Patrick Onwuasor Jersey , opening things up for Andrews.Ravens MVP of the week: Joe Flacco In the 47-3 win over the Buffalo Bills, multiple players had standout performances. One player stood above the rest, however. The Ravens most valuable player was none other than quarterback Joe Flacco. Flacco entered the season with all eyes closely watching him, and in Week 1 he certainly delivered.Flacco started the game strong, leading the offense on an 80-yard scoring drive. On the very first play, Flacco hit tight end Nick Boyle for a 25-yard gain. Flacco immediately went back to Boyle for an 11-yard gain and another first down. After a fumbled handoff to Alex Collins and an offensive holding penalty, Baltimore was faced with a 2nd-and-26. Last season, Flacco and the Ravens offense was rarely able to overcome such situations. Flacco did not flinch this time, however Youth Michael Crabtree Jersey , as he rolled out to the right and threw across his body to the opposite side of the field for a 29-yard conversion to wide receiver John Brown. The drive ended with an 8-yard touchdown run from Collins.Flacco threw for three touchdowns on the day, one each to Brown, Michael Crabtree and Willie Snead IV. On the first passing touchdown, Flacco and Brown both displayed good awareness to find the opening between zone coverage in the back of the end zone. Flacco was able to float a perfect pass to the corner of the end zone for Crabtree, who made an impressive catch and toe tap to get both feet in bounds for the score. Snead was next to score on a quick pass between defenders from Flacco. Flacco exuded confidence in his new wide receivers and it payed off with a touchdown for all three.Flacco was able to hit several different targets against the Bills, distributing the ball equally through the air. Crabtree, Snead, Brown, Boyle , Maxx Williams, Mark Andrews, Chris Moore, Collins and Javorius Allen all had catches while Flacco was in the game. Flacco displayed confidence and mobility in the pocket, keeping his eyes downfield while taking the check down when necessary. With three touchdowns and zero interceptions, Flacco was in total control of the offense while slicing through Buffalo’s secondary. Lamar Jackson replaced Flacco in the third quarter after the game was put out of reach. Flacco could not have had a much better start to his eleventh season.
